About Captured Taboos

Captured Taboos is a small firm founded by my wife "the model" and myself "the brain". Neither my wife is a professional model nor I am a professional photographer. But we decided in 2005 to turn our hobby into a small company. We love what we do, have a lot of fun, are very dedicated and - most of all - we do have a mission: We want to encourage people to become more creative, to take their own pictures, perhaps even to build their own requisites … and to become proud of what they are able to achieve. Of course - we want to earn some money too.

Our pictures don't follow trends, I just try to visualize my own fetishism. I am not fixated on a special material, more on attributes and features. Everything has to be tight-fitting, shine is nice but not a must have. More important is that the person who wears the outfit feels uncomfortable. On the other hand I am a very visual person, therefore my self-made props and clothes have to meet two main criterions: they have to be stylish, sort of unique with obvious functionalities. My photos vary from the "classical" area to – how I call it – the "brain" area. Here I try to realize my own erotic fantasies. Some of these fantasies centre around props which usually cannot be found in a store, so I have to design and build most of them myself. It is very important to me that these props have a real functionality, I don't like to work with dummies. It sometimes takes weeks until I have collected all the necessary material, the realization phase can easily take another two to four weeks. But the result is absolutely worth the effort, and – honestly – building the props is a big part of the fun! In the end I do not only have another great picture but also the possibility to experience my own fantasies in real life. And I am fortunate that my wife is a wonderful, uncomplaining model who loves to act and play.
